I think you don't need to worry so much. If it's just one, even if there's no hair, then it's probably not herpes. Herpes comes in clusters that are p***y and itchy/red. Any pain is PROBABLY from you probing it so much. Leave it the heck alone, girl. Seriously. It's hard, I know (I've been there... I'm there now!), but it's not going to go away if you keep poking it with sharp things and pouring harsh chemicals into it. Peroxide can RUIN your skin, so take it easy. It's probably cleaner than a surgeon's hands by now, so just gently clean it every day and take up some new shaving habits, like going with the grain. Or try waxing. Good luck.

It's your health we are talking about here. On the best case scenario it's an in-grown hair! On the worst case scenario... it could be syphilis because of what you said about it appearing and disappearing in a couple of days and then coming back at the very same spot. Leave it ALONE! More you touch it more you have chance to spread it if it's something bad and that is something you don't want, you want to keep it at the smallest it can be. I am not happy that you all are going through this but I am happy that I am not the only one! I am positive that it is an ingrown hair & I get them as well it always worried me because I am a virigin and I used to think I got something from a public restrooms but now that I've heard all of these stories I am sure most of us need to calm down and have faith that we have ingrown hairs!

I had the samething happen to me on Monday. i was taking a shower and felt something, looked down and went, what the heck is this! It looked like a bug bite or pimple in the inside of my labia, but how the heck is that possible?? It had a small white head on it that I popped, yes I know I shouldn't have. I called my doc, but wasn't able to get in until today (Thursday). By the time I went to her it was almost gone, how embarrassed was I! She said it wasn't warts or herbies as it would have been really itchy. She said it could have been an ingrown hair or infected something. I looked on line and found all this and feel so much better. I found lots of pictures of warts and other stuff. Nothing looked like what I had. Wish they would post pictures of ingrown hair/labia . Does anyone know know where you can find them? I'm still concerned that it burns when I go to the bathroom and it a little itchy, but I think it is because I picked at it to much!

I am 17and just recently lost my virginity and I have almost the exact same thing except I have about 20 of them! They are all over the place down there and I am freaking out. my boyfriend says that he gets them all the time when he shaves and says they are probably ingrown hairs but I'm still worried because I'm afraid he could just have something and not realize it. I tried to pull the hairs out because usually that helps it go away faster but it was so painfull i didn't even want to touch them again. they are sore, itchy, and filled with what looks like puss. I am scared out of my mind and too afraid to tell my parents and go to the doctor but if they don't go away in a week I will have to. It's very possible that they are ingrown hairs because it just so happened to coincide with my hair starting to grow back but it's still questionable since I know that my boyfriends ex has had many partners and it's ver possible she gave him an std. Someone please respond and help me out because I am having a serious meltdown haha it would be my luck if I got an std from my first time.

I have had the same issue but does anyone have these ingrown hairs appear in the same spot???? I have two areas down there that always seem to get ingrown hairs. I don't want to irritate them and make them worse. Does anyone know if it's best to dig in and try to get the little hair out??? One area seems to come back about once every three months but I can hardly see it and mirrors are difficult.

Well i been haveing the same issue for about a week or so now i freaked out n cryed all night for sure my husband was ganna leave me n not beleave that he is the only person i have been with sence i met him 2 years ago its just a lil red bump thats kinda sor it feels better when i soak in a bath with some epson salt in it and has no kind of fluid in it at all no white stuff not clear ne thing just a lil lump on right on the hair line i still dont know what it is i have been to the doctor bc i am also 38 weeks pregnant they havent said ne thing but nether have i bc like i said worried that it could be herpis or something its the forst time iv ever had one and it will go down a lil then came back after a lenthy visit n probing at the hospital they where checking my cervix so i had all kinds of lube down there i just hope its all okay i guess with herpies there is a kinda puss i tryed to lance my lump and nothing happened but made it hurt a lil more n a lil blood come out but that was all that happened... im still stressed tho

your symptoms sounds like you have an abscess under your skin and its very likely to develope from regular shaving. smetimes it has a small head where pus can come out and its a fairly big bump deep in the skin. rather than ingrown bumps thats on the surface. you should go check with your gp and it can be easily cured with anti biotics.

Hi there I think ive got the same thing I've been with my boyfriend for 5 months now and he hasn't mentioned anything about a sore down there so I think it's just an ingrown but it's really hard and under the skin I popped it the first time I noticed it and puss came out but then I got tweezers and hair kept coming out of it and it won't stop I keep pulling little tiny ones out of it and I'm not sure if I should get it checked out I'm really nervous about it

I always get these bump like things sometimes a few small one sometimes two or three big ones...not always with a head and doesnt always happen after I shave. I use to get really freaked but my husband never got them...well needless to say I got prego and got them alot during my pregnancy..they tested me for eveything my first visit and when the bumps appeared a few months later the said nothing about it its just zits i guess. Yeah happens after stress too but sometimes its nothing to worry about. I'd go to the doctor to ease your mind. If its something then you know and if its nothing then theres no worry.
