I'm in a situation like this now!
I shave down there, and recently I was sleepy when i did it, and may have cut myself down there a little. On my way to the beach it was very uncomfortable! Then the next day, my boyfriend tried to have sex with me and it KILLED!!!:( so I put some powder, and baby diaper rash cream, and it was a success for a night, then it got all clumpy! I tried salt water but it literally feels like salt in the wound:( any other helpful hints????!!!!???!!!

It's an ingrown hair... I've had that kind before. It's not like the usual ones where it's just clear stuff, dries up, you pluck the hair and it's done. It gets really big, lots of dark blood and the bump will stay a couple days after the scab and it may even leave a little scar but if that's what you have I assure you it is an ingrown hair that gets way out of control.

So this is for everyone who answered this and to the post. This is just an ingrown hair which after the skin around it goes down turns into a blackhead which you can barely see from your angle and is very red for a long time. This is a common thing towards people who generally have light skin and dark hair. I am not positive on why this happens but this is a common occurrence. Nothing to be worried about just try and be careful shaving over it because cutting this area will make it look worse. Normally if you are one of the people who get these they come back and stay for a couple months and do this often some have said that laser surgery has helped stop these ingrown hairs from reoccurring. (Does not work for everyone)

I developed what fel like a cyst in my labia...very tender. 2nd day looked liked the head of a pimple under the skin. I had to wear panty pads bc of coughing during major cold. Im 67; no sex, no shaving, no herpes. If it were herpes it would continue to spread. It felt like 3rd day a marble-sized cyst, swelled and red and very painful to wear pants or underwear...incapacitated to laying down bc i couldnt sit on it.
DO NOT USE neosporin, peroxide or alcohol...if you do it will scar area, make the tissue thinner and agravate.
Best method of natural healung: sitz bath in hot water; use washcloth HOT, press up against area. Take ur fingers while in tub and squeeze gently around what feels like cyst, not on bump itself. Im in my 5th day in loose sweat pants or pjs...cannot sit on it or wear underwear or clothes. Tonight i did the gentle squeezing after the sizt bath and fluid was coming out in small amounts. Best its felt so far. Cyst-like marble knot gone done 70% tonight. A blister is a thin membrane water-filled. This is not a blister.
