cramping and one mild spot

hi everyone i was hoping anyone could help me. i have been trying to conceive for 6months. this is the 1st time i have used a test to make sure we had intercourse the day before and day off ovulation. this was on the monday. on the thursday i had one mild 'spotting' incident when i wiped. it was very pale pink. i have had full blown cramps similar to what i get before my period for approx 3days. today is sunday and this has now stopped. i am not due for my period tiltuesday week. i am always very regular and get same symptons of cramps and swollen breasts couple days before. has anyone had this situation before? and what happened?? thanks guys. from 'fingers crossec' :)
