Hi my daughter has been having diarrhea since oct. she has had low grade fever and sometimes up to 102.7. She has had ulcers in her mouth, sever stomach cramps and she is cold and tired alot. The doctor has done blood work and has found no infections and he has done a urine test which this last one did have protein in it. Her platelets are 786 and she is showing anemic and low iron. She has had a stool sample and it only showed some blood. She does have family history of crohns disease. Could crohns cause the platelets to be that high?
