Well his sister is totally right. You can get pregnant, although there is a smaller chance, because while having a period, these are not woman’s fertile days. But, if you don’t want to have a baby, do not play like this. Every time your boyfriend cum inside you, there is a possibility you end up pregnant. And then what- abortion?!

I have three children and after doctors told me I couldn't have children I got pregnant with all of them during the last few days of my period.

During the first two days of your period when your flow is heaviest, your more than likely WONT get pregnant. If its near the ending days, you can because sperm can live for up to a week hanging around waiting for an egg. If you begin ovulating that regularly, youre very fertile and are increasing your chances. This is especially true if youre a young woman.

Sex on period is a no - no because of sanitary reasons. Blood carries lots of immnue system waste products, and body toxins, that need to be let out, hence the word FLOW. The inside of your vagina is very fragile and get small bruises and tears from firm sex. Your partner is pushing all those bad blood things BACK into your vagina. Once they get into your temporary tears, you can get a TERRIBLE infection like VAGINOSIS. You wont be having sex anytime soon after that.... If youre scared of getting pregnant, you need to use a CONDOM or ABSTAIN. ;-)

There is no medical reason for not having sex during your period - it is only a personal preference.
