I need help!!!!
I hurt both knees during some high-impact aerobics in 1992. Since then, being in the Navy, I have worked in conditions that have resulted in severe patellofemoral syndrome (as a result of a moving deck, ladders, kneeling on metal decks, bumping into equipment, vibration, etc). I was recently turned down for medical benefits by Veterans Affairs. They cite one reason as "there is no research to show this kind of cumulative trauma relates to patellofemoral syndrome".
Does anyone know of any research papers written on this showing a correlation (i.e ladders, vibrations, bumps, etc)?
