cyst beside clitoris

Wow that really worked???? Mine is huge right now and I just lost my job and insurance. Perfect timing. I have anbesol on hand. I'm scared to try it but I'm getting more desperate by the hour. I did manage to get antibiotics the other day before I was let go. But it's just getting worse. I've had this before and had it drained. I wish I could just go have it drained and removed. I could care less about nerve damage at this point I'm married and 43 so I don't much care about sex anymore. Hahahah. Man take care everyone. Gonna go put some heat in this baby and see what comes out!

I have been dealing with the same thing! I got my first cyst on the right side of my clitorus when I was 19 years old. I was having sex with my girlfriend (I'm lesbian) when I felt a small bump on the side of my clit. It freaked me out and it was super tender. Pretty painful. It stayed for 2 days and then it was gone. The next time I had sex it came back!! So I went to see my doctor and she told me it looked like a clogged vein. It scared the living hell out of me but again it dissapeared withing 2 days. Later it showed up again during sexual activity and I went to the local woman's hospital where they looked at it and told me it was a cyst. They told me they could lance it to ease the pressure. So I ended up getting it lanced and omfg. They had to stick a needle directly into the cyst!! It hurt so bad! They injected the numbing medicine and at first it hurt so bad because it was only filling the cyst with more fluid. Eventually though the damn thing became numb and they lanced me. My gf was in the room and told me a lot of blood gushed out. Ugh. The doctors then stuffed the incision with gaugs. Told me to take a hot soak in the tub and they would come out easily. (PSH!! Bull c**p, pulling that mile of fabric out hurt like a betch! I was in tears!) They also told me it would never come back which made me happy. However..months later I decided to get jiggy with my girl again and wouldn't you know it!! It returned!!! Bigger this time! The size of a small grape!! It hurt more too cause it was causing the scar to stretch. I went to the ER this time and a male doctor looked it over. He offered to lance it and I instantly panicked because I remembered the shot from last time. Thankfully a wonderful Nurse offered me laughing gas and it worked!! I didn't feel the needle. Nor did they pack the site because the doctor said I wouldn't need gaugs. Unfortunately I STILL get these cysts after having sex. I have one right now!! LOL I am 23 now. Still with the same girl and everything. Its always the same. Have sex, get the cyst and it lasts from 1 day to 4 at most. Never has the size been bigger than a small grape, but they do hurt! I hate it so much because it cuts my intimacy with my lover short. As soon as it shows up, its game over. I wish I could get rid of it for good!!!

It is NOT a Bartholin Gland cyst. I've had that too...and that is much closer to or in the vagina. I've had a surgery to open it permanently, but still get these cysts right up by the clitoris. Do not confuse the 2.

I had one of these in august.  The dr used a needle to drain it and sent it for a biopsy.  It came back strepp b.  I took a bunch of pencillian and it cleared up.  Though I want ever mentally ok woth what happened, it hurt like hell to drain, I had never felt 100% after.  I went to the dr about a month ago and she said I was ok ( though I wasn't feeling ok) and that there are so many nerves flown there it will take time to heal.  Well yesterday it was very painful to wipe and I feel the cyst has returned.  Today it feels worse than yesterday. I guess I am going yo go back to the dr again tomorrow....... Very depressed!! 

Nice to know I'm not alone in this pain....I'm suffering right now and yes hot compress or baths works it just takes time thankfully this one so far not as bad as the first one I got last month...I get these in various areas but mainly the vaginal area and have always been told don't pop them as u can infect it and it will drain on its on so far that's true but they never have answers for why this keeps happening and they have tested me for everything

I started birth control about 5 months ago, when I have my first regulated period, I found a cyst about the size of a dime. It didn't hurt much and I applied a hot rag to it and it was gone within that night. I recently have been put on a new birth control and in the past couple of days, had a cyst pop back up, different spot though. It's huge. Extremely long and hard, hurts like hell even if I apply warm water. It feels like there is a lot of pressure there and I can barely sit. I might have my mom take me to the hospital at this point due to the pain being so bad.

I have this problem also, im 18 and this has ben going on cence i was 9, its a swollen gland,cyst thing idk but i do know that hot baths do help pluss its you take a hot washcloth and apply it your body will absorb it back up after a few days, sometimes this may not work as with me it didn't but some it does, my best advice i could give is this if you have endometriosis, or polycystic your likely t ok get these on your armpits ,face ,ubove the clitoris ti the left or right, and the on the but and occasionally some girls get them on their thys this does not mean anything bad! Just put neosporen on it and when taking a hot bath or shower apply pressure if it doesn't go down in a few days seek medical attention, i only say this because my mom is a nurse and has this same problem. _Mg

Wow, so thankful for this. I'm 18 and think i've had these on and off for several years. I'm a virgin but due to circumstances of my past I was afraid this was an STD but was terrified to see a doctor.

looking everywhere for 'phlidel cyst', I too get those on the crack of my ass sporadically, but can't find the definition of phlidel anywhere. I am 64 with an extremely clean personal area, use bidet after anything that requires sitting on toilette, yet noticed yesterday that I had a gorged long growth under the left side of the clit hood and now I can't find my clit. I am totally freaking out! My daughter was visiting and I told her about it and before she left I told her I found it and we both laughed and said this would be a great topic for my writings but it disappeared again, it's 3am and while researching I found your quote which brings a lot of food for thought, Right this minute I am having undiagnosed heart issues. I am also on Harvoni a new drug for Hep C without all side effects totally documented

Drs. don't know jack and I hate to go to them but after reading some of the horror stories here I am heading to mine tomorrow. I doubt if you'll see this any day soon, but I wanted to thank you for being so detailed in your sharing as this gives me material to discuss with Drs. regarding possibilities. if you can explain what the phlidel cyst is or check fto see if this is what you meant that would be great. I have been getting them since I was 8 years old and I'm 23 now cyts are very painful and it sucks because they scars it leaves behind .but the doctors I went to just constantly tells me not to shave with a razor just trim it down some but even when I follow doctors orders it always seem to come back and at this point I just feel like I'm gonna get them forever no matter what I try to do . I been to another doctor that said you can getsurgery for them but then its no guarantee that they won't come back which sucks
