hi, i had a baby in april, a few weeks after i had the rod implant fitted, i had my period which lasted a week all normal but then a mounth after i had another 1 but it was dark drown/black and stringy it wasnt loads but anuf 2 give me a fright, it wasnt every time i went 2 the toilet but it did last for 2days. i have been told a few diffrent things it could b like 'old blood', 'miscarraige' or 'a start of a pregancy', i dont know what 2 think as iv been told its possible 2 get pregnant being on the rod, i like 2 think im not but i have ad thos pregancy signs like heartburn, dissyness, feeling sick, cant get comfy in bed, if any 1 can tell me what it could possibly b or if they been thro the same, i b very greatfull, thanks x

I've never been pregnant but what you explained sounded similar to something I experienced I couple months ago, I went to the doctor and he said it was like another period but I wasnt releasing and eggs, my body was just getting rid of old blood that didnt come out during my period, you body just goes in period mode to release the old blood. I would just take a trip to the womens clinic and find out for sure
