I am hoping someone can help me with some answers quickly. I need to know if a deformed spine can possibly be caused by the condition alpha-Mannosidosis? Or does a deformed spine have to be the result of another, totally unrelated condition? If you have any information, I would appreciate it if you could share this with me.

Two of my granddaughters have moderate cases of severe Infantile Alpha Mannosidosis. They both had bone marrow transplants to treat this awful disease when they were only two years old.
Yes spinal deformities are considered to be in the group of symptoms, usually scoliosis or kyphosis (my GDs have).
Dr. Thomas Gross at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio is considered to be one of the few experts on AM.
