After being a patient of Dr. Richard Jotte, St. Ann, MO, for over 10 years, I was denied services. Four days ago I called and made an appointment, and when I arrived after waiting 30 minutes plus in the lobby for my appointment, I was told by the office staff that the doctor would not see me because of an over due $34.00 bill. Although the failed payment was not my fault, I was still denied. The off site staff member that handles the doctors billing did not submit my bill in a timely manner and was denied payment. Not only did the doctor not see me, I was not even asked why I was there. Thank GOD it wasn’t an emergency. It’s hard to believe that after ten years of service, and being a LOYAL patient I was treated the way I was. One mishap after ten years plus, not my fault, and I’m looking for another doctor.
