In October, I cross taped using 2 long bandaids. I got an erection while I was wearing the tape, and when I took it off, my penis felt different, there was not much feeling in it, and it felt kind of stiff while flaccid. I tried to get an erection but could not until after like an hour were I only got a partial erection. It is now Febuary, and my penis still feels the same and it is very hard to get erections and when I do get them they are never full erections and there are these 2 ring like lumps going across the right side of my shaft. I saw my doctor about this and he examined my penis and said it did not look like anything is wrong and set up an appoitnment with a urologist. The ultrolgist said nothing appeared wrong and set up a testicular ultrasound were everything was normal. I saw another doctor who said I should see a therapist about this because it could be a mental problem. I have seen the therapist twice and its helped me worry a little less. If I did cause any damage to my penis would the doctors have been able to see it? I can't stop worrying about this.

Hi person,

The ultrasound is very good at determining if there are any problems with the blood flow in/out of the erectile chambers of the penis.  If the test came out normal, then there is likely nothing wrong.

You've seen two doctors now, your regular doctor and the urologist.  It is unlikely there is anything wrong.  The bandaids themselves should not cause any damage to your penis.  It does not sound like a fracture.

Anxiety can cause problems with you getting an erection.  It sounds like it is fine and normal.  Stop worrying and you'll likely get a hard erection again.

Hope it helps.
