Before i go on explaining my question, please don't ridicule my question as i am a conservative as far as virginity is concerned, so if you have nothing nice to say then you know how it goes.
my question is, years ago, out of curiosity i inserted a very small part of my index finger (maybe 2 cm max) into my vaginal canal once and twice only, then after that and that same time, a small part of the eraser part of a pencil, also maybe 2 or so cm's in. i remember it feeling bumpy, kind of like a rug, sensation wise, it felt like the buds on our tongues.
i don't recall feeling any pain, nor do i recall any blood showing on my finger instantly where i inserted part of it. i felt no resistance either.
then, im not sure if later on that same day or the next day i found some blood on my panties, although it wasn't one or two spots (as everyone described hymen blood is usually like), it was kind of like the blood you'd have when your period hits you the first day and you're not ready. brownish in colour and medium in amount (definitely not a little though) , if i can recall correctly. i wore my pad and the problem is, i don't recall if it was my period, or if at the time i wore the pad for nothing and didn't period bleed at all, which leads to my question, could i have lost my virginity?
i'm hung up on reserving my virginity for marriage so i'm very worried i may have.
i have checked with a mirror my region, and the way it looks is, there's an almost finger size opening that isnt perfectly circular (kind of zig zaggy) that joins the top and bottom parts of my labiae, altough this circle, at the top right part is a bit more ''worn'' if you like, so what im trying to say is, from the top left region of my opening to the bottom, there is this tissue like thing, and this ''tissue'' continues to cover the opening until 3/4 of the circle wherein the top right is a bit weird looking, kind of more exposed. hence i can kind of see the vaginal lining to some extent, not fully, although i can see a tiny bit of my vaginal canal, is that normal?
i have never inserted anything in there in my life, so pls tell me, am i a virgin? is it likely i ruptured part of my hymen but not all of it? is the hymen in or outside the vaginal canal?
please be nice. thanks.

Hi, first of all technically your a virgin until a penis enters your vagina even if your hymen has gone, you don't just have to insert something into the vagina for the hymen to break as it can happen many ways without you even realising from such things as riding a bicycle, gymnastic type stretching or horse riding to name a few. Some girls feel no pain when it breaks and don't bleed either, by what you described I would say that was your period because it would of been fresh red blood if it was from your hymen.
By what you have describe I would say that you still have part of your hymen left, your hymen is normally a thin whitish transparent membrane that goes across the entrance to your vagina and can be seen fairly easily.
