Im 13 and recently came to achknoladge the idea of masturbation, please dont judge. I simply did it for the fact of knowing and also because i was hearing it a lot recently... Anyway, the day after i masturbated i had my first major period. My period continued for about 3-5 more months and now im over a month late. Did the masturbation cause my period to start? Or was it a coincidence? If it was a coincidence can someone please enlighten me as to why im so late?!? PLEASE PLEASE HELP!

You had your period for the first time, right? Now, it is one month late. That is OK, it can take up to two or even three years for your period to settle down. It is going to be OK and regular, it only takes a couple of times for this.

With younger people it can be erratic anyway. Your first one could have been related to a hormone surge or it could have been chance. Missing it for a month isn't a disaster. If you haven't had sex then you wont be pregnant. Its probably just an irregularity that with smooth out in the years to come.
