Hello there! Listen I know that seeing blood clots can be alarming, however it does not necessarly mean that there is something terribly wrong with you. The blood clots you are seeing may be the uterine lining. Also it may be due to your hypothyroidism, as low thyroid can make your period heavier, thus the blood clots. If you feel concerned, you can talk to your doctor, however it may be nothing, so try to keep calm. I hope that you find ease of mind regarding this. Good luck!

Are you doing this to try to get pregnant? I had the depoprovera shots when I was in my college years and it put me in early menopause so I did the provera/ogesterine in an attempt to ready myself for pregnancy. It took 18 months, I had 2 miscarriages after and then 4 perfectly healthy babies

Bleeding an entire month is abnormal and could be a sign of something like uterine cancer. If you've not already done so, I'd advise u to see your doctor.

Help.... I just got my pap smear results.. They were normal and my hpv too. But they say I have beign enddrometrial cells. I have to go in for an ultra sound and possibly a biopsy only if needed... Never have done any of this before.. I am 45 and in pre menopause as my period is only like every 8 months... In a nutshell my lining of the uterus is thicker (shedding) but I know menopause can do these things.... I am trying to calm myself down.....

You may be low on progesterone. Go to a dr. who will prescribe natural hormones and have your levels checked. If needed, they will prescribe natural progesterone for you. You do not want to take any synthetic hormones.

Hello dear, I know this is from awhile ago but I'm going through this also but I was recently diagnosed with a clotting factor. MTHFR gene mutatio and it makes so much sense with what I have going on. I take a baby aspirin every day and IV iron therapy twice a year. I wish I was diagnosed sooner because I've been hospitalized so many times for hemorrhaging. 13 years later and we know why. I hope things are better dear!!!!
