I am suffering from that yeast infection again. I had it few years ago. I was on therapy for few weeks. I was being careful all this time, but it happened again. This time my treatment are Diflucan tablets 50mg. My therapy is only one tablet for three days. This weird, don’t you think?

I don’t think that is weird. I took single dose of Diflucan 150 mg for yeast infection. Diflucan 50mg contains fluconazole 50 mg and yeast infections are normally treated with a single 150 mg dose of fluconazole. So, it ok that you have to take 50mg for 3 days that is 150mg, same as I had. Many things can affect the dose of Diflucan that a person needs, such as body weight, other medical conditions, and other medications. It is very important that this medication be taken as it is prescribed. Continue to take the full course of Diflucan; it is in the end only 3 days. You’ll feel better.
