discomfort in groin/testicle area

keep in mind i am a complete hypochondriac and think i have everything, but latly ive been getting this discomfort (not pain) down by my right testicle and groin area hard to tell where the pain is coming from pretty sure its the scrotum and not the testicle and the groin is tender also, it comes and goes and i can almost only feel the discomfort when laying down, there is no lumps on my testicle besides whatever is on the top of both of them....im just worried i have testicular cancer, i plan on getting it checked out but would like opinions of others who may no more than me
