On a recent myelogram, my doctors have found something called a Tarlov Cyst. Does anyone here have any experience with this problem? What do they do to fix it?

Tarlov cysts are tiny formation on spine and to this day there is no reliable explanation as to why they form. In majority of cases they cause no symptoms so people even don’t know they have them. These cysts are often incidentally detected via MRI or CT scans, or a myelogram, in your case, when examination is done for other medical reasons. The only thing you need to do is to have regular checkups to monitor if there is change because they can cause back pain if they are placed on specific areas of spine. Only way to treat them when back pain becomes untreatable otherwise is by removing them surgically, but that is done only when cysts is in dangerous place and causes too much pain.
