Hi I am 30 yrs old and I have four children. I have noticed for the past 2 yrs that my left breast is swollen and very tender at times and heavier than my right side... when I take deep breaths I get a shooting pain in my chest all the time. I have seen my GP twice about the smae thing and because I have a back problem they have said that is due to my spine being out of line...I need help and my GP does not know the answer to this and always refers the pain to my back. Could someone please be so kind and help me out as I am very concerned and it is happening more often than it did before. Do I go and see another GP and demand xrays or tests... please HELP!!!

You sound worried. I would demand that your doctor investigate further. If you have insurance, there is no reason why you can't push this.
Pain, tenderness or swelling is not supposed to be anywhere on the body, unless something is going on.
If your regular doctor doesn't think it's necessary, either have them refer you to another one or see a specialist.
This is your body and your life and you have the final say.
