i did a pregnancy test the morning after sex and it was possitive i would like to no if doing a test the morning after could affect the result

You cannot detect pregnancy the morning after sex, you need 12-14 days after sex to detect pregnancy.

Hello there,

Well, one day after having sex there is no use to do the pregnancy test because it is impossible to find out that you are pregnant just few hours after you had unprotected sex. But, your case is definitely different because it must have been that you have unprotected sex before otherwise your pregnancy test wouldn’t be positive.

Usually test is done minimum 7 days after unprotected sex but the best and more accurate result is 14 days after unprotected sex. Since you are positive I would suggest that you visit your doctor to confirm this result because he is going to do blood test which is like 99% accurate.
