could you please tell me after how many days of having intercourse can you use a home pregnancy test for it to give the right result, is after one week of having intercourse enough to determine if she is pregnant or not with a home pregnancy test?

If you had unprotected sex and you are suspecting that your girlfriend is pregnant than you should wait at least seven days. But you should be very careful with this test especially if it turns out negative. My sister in law has done this test after seven days and it was negative but since her period didn’t come after 10 days then she has took another test and this one was positive.
So it is better to wait 14 days and do the test for the first pregnancy urine. This test is 90% accurate. If it turns out positive you can confirm result at the doctor’s office because he will perform blood test which is 99 % accurate.
