What you describe does sound like a yeast infection, or possibly balanitis (inflammation of the penis under the foreskin). The dry skin could have been caused by the infection or by the treatment – I’m not sure what you used. The best way to manage the dry skin is 1) to keep the area clean and allow it to dry thoroughly after washing; and 2) to use a moisturizing vitamin cream (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil) to provide nutrient support to boost the skin’s natural healing process. Your regular doctor could help you, but a dermatologist might be more familiar with the condition you are experiencing.

Good luck!
