Hey, I'm a 20 year old un-cut male. I've been getting rashes along with white/red bumps and dry skin on my penis head and foreskin off and on. It goes away on its own but returns again.

It starts off with a few small red bumps on my penis head and spreads more after a few days. It spreads onto the foreskin because my skin sits over my head cause I'm un-cut. Also the outer foreskin becomes dry and swells up, sometimes to the point where I can't pull my skin back off of my head.
When it first started over a year ago it broke out very bad and lasted longer. Now it doesn't last as long or break out as bad and gets better each time but still won't go away.

After day 3 of the rash a white creamy like substance show up where the bumps/rash are. This is usually when the swelling starts to go away and then a few days after this I'm ok. It also smells very bad when the white stuff starts to show. After I clean the white stuff off with hot water and mild soap there is just a rash on my penis and foreskin, no more bumps.

What is causing this? Can I make this go away? I've never been tested for an std. Also I don't think its herpes because I looked at herpes pictures and its no where near that bad and doesn't last as long. All the women I've have sexual intercouse with have never told me that I passed anything on to them, so I think its not an std but I need help. Its freaking me out pretty bad!

Thanks

I completely agree with Lady ChecKa in that you cannot rely on former partners to tell you the truth! You need to have this looked at by the expert, your doctor. Also, you need to do it right away in case it is contagious and needs to be dealt with immediately.

The symtpoms you are describing could indicate some form of herpes but without a swab and examination it is hard to tell. STDs show up in all forms and the only certainty is having it checked out by your doctor. This will put your mind at ease as well. Sometimes the not-knowing can be more painful than the symptom itself. Thanks for being real! Good luck.

Any unusual penis symptoms should be checked by a doctor, but it sounds like you have either balanitis (an infected glans/foreskin) or a yeast infection – they can both cause all of the symptoms you describe. A yeast infection can be treated using an over-the-counter antifungal medication; the same may also be used to treat balanitis. It is important to make sure all of your symptoms are gone before you have sex, or you could end up passing a yeast infection back and forth with your partner. You can avoid similar problems – not to mention make your penis look better – by applying a penis health cream (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil) after a daily shower.
