I am very worried now reading about all these pregnacies, even though I know many are blessings. I have been having unprotected sex this past wekk after ablation two weeks ago. I am scared now hearing all stories. I would like to know the percentage risk on becoming pregnant, but it seems different for everybody..I havent had a period yet. It seem totally confusing about having or not getting them at all. There is no real way to find out if you are pregnant. I just know I better insert that nuva ring, cause I am scared. How do i insert it with no period though. I am calling my doctor. Thanks everyone for all the info. And good luck for those who are carrying the lil miracles who are truly blessings from above.

I am 40 and currently 37weeks after an ablation in 2009. I haven't had any unusual prob. My dr acts like it is no big deal that the ablation must not have been done correctly or I wouldn't have gotten preg. I have had numberous ultrasounds and everything is fine. I am sch for induction on sept 2 due to gestitarional diabetes. I go to a dr office where I see many diff drs. A few weeks ago I had a new dr n he saw in my chart that I had an ablation done and was mad that I was preg telling me I shouldn't have gotten preg n that I could hemorrhage in labor or need a er hysterectomy. And told me to tell the hosp when I go into labor to have plenty of blood for me. He freaked me out. Now I'm terrified to have the baby. I asked the next dr abour this n she said she doesn't think I should have any prob. Did you have any complications or were u told the same.
