My ultrasound it turned out everything was "normal" but i still have questions and no money to see a doctor to get them answered.
does the endometrial stripe thicken during a period? if so what can cause the endometrial stripe not to thicken....would it cause a woman to not have her period?
ps im 19 years old and my periods are irregular(skips three months at a time im not on birth control) but haven't had any answers that really help me understand it cept for stress and i havent been stressed really lately.

Hi Kara, sometimes periods can also be irregular due to body weight or other hormonal problems. A lot of women actually don't have regular periods, and most people actually have regular periods only while on birth control. I don't have the answer to your endometrial stripe question but someone else will. Does that make sense though?

it makes sense but i never had problems until i was like 15 then it started to skip months im not over weight or under weight im so confused :-(

Well, like I said, most women don't have REGULAR periods anyway, especially if you're stressed or something like that. Do you have any other symptoms or do you just skip periods? I think you might want to try birth control and see if it regulates your period better if that's an option you're willing to entertain. Is it?
