I am only 21 and have a three year old son. My stomach has so much excess skin and to make matters even worse I have a epigastric hernia so it looks like my I have an ball there and I am very skinny. Every time I wear a fitting shirt people ask me am I pregnant again. I am desperate and I just don't know what to do. I need help. I really want to be able to wear a bathing suit and other clothes comfortably with out getting all the stares and questions.

I have given birth to twin boys in January this year and my stomach is absolutely terrible! I also have an epigastric hernia (stomach hernia) and I'm thinking my stomach will never disappear unless I have surgery. If that doesn't work who knows! I did some reading about an epigastric hernia and it says that is simply a separation of the abdominal muscles.

The epigastric hernia can be easily fixed, get it looked at by a family doctor who will send you to a surgeon for evaluation. As far as the excess skin, I feel your pain- My son is 10, and it took me until he was 9 to lose all my pregnancy weight (partially a lack of effort on my part) but I still have this awful stretch-mark scarred, saggy stomach. It's apparently not going to go away. I thought it was because I was overweight before, now I think the skin just stretched too far to snap back into shape after my pregnancy. :( Glad I'm not alone at least.
