Hi, I have been suffering from fissures, fistula and external hemorrhoid's for almost 3 years. Yesterday, I went through a surgery for about 30 minutes or less. The surgery started by 8:50 AM and completed before 09:30 AM. I couldn't feel a thing below the waist due to spinal anaesthesia injection. The numbness lasted until 03:30 PM or so. Later, I ate idli and went to the toilet to pass urine by 05 PM. I also felt a little pressure but could not pass the stool. While I sat down to pass stool, I started feeling restless as if I was going to pass out. I started breathing as much as I could and somehow I did not pass out and made my way back to the bed. I started experiencing pain by 0530 PM and the pain lasted for about 09 PM. I ate Rice, Dal, Banana and took some water. The doctor told me to take an extra injection if it was too painful, However I did not take another injection. Finally I went to sleep. There is NO pain today. I was discharged today from the hospital today and was given some gels and medicines and betadin to flush the wound. I will be posting the stages of my recovery and will also specify which doctor has done the surgery.
