The other month while lying down I suddenly felt as though all the blood was draining from my head. I really thought I was going to die. This lasted for about 2minutes maybe less. Then everything started to return to normal. (The only other symptom I felt before the incident was that I felt very restless whilst trying to fall asleep). In the morning I felt fine but I still went to see my Doctor who could find nothing wrong. He checked my heart and after doing an ECG declared that my heart was fine. Blood tests revealed no problems. A subsequent visit to a heart specialist produced the same results. Everything was fine and both Doctors were honest enough to say they did not know what happened to me when I felt light-headed. Both Doctors recommended that I take a dispirin once a day but I have heard conflicting reports about taking dispirin (aspirin) on a daily basis. The faint feeling was so severe that I am worried and need to find out more.

Has anybody suffered something similar?
