Just thought i would advise folks that if you are in severe pain in Anus thut takes hrs to go away after defacation no matter how much cream etc you use then it is highly likely that you may have a Fissure.

This was all new to me having had prolapsed hemorrhoids removed 10 years ago and being used to pain.

For last 18 months i have had excutiating pain during defacation which could last for 8-10hrs after withiut any visibility of severe piles.

One visit to doctor and diagnosis was given. The remedy was a Botox injection into the anal muscle.

Results are instantaneous. Have now been pain free for 2 weeks since and advised that fissure will heal hopefully within lifetime of botox injection which is 3 months.

If I dont then I go in for another....

Get it checked if in pain guys and get it sorted.
