Hello. Three days ago my penis foresking became swollen and soon afterwards urinating became extremely painful. Like, the most pain I have ever experienced, and it is still like that. I have not seen a doctor yet because I am out of the country (in Costa Rica where I have been for three weeks and where I will remain at least three weeks more) and do not know what to expect if I go. Ten days ago my condom came off during sex and I am afraid of a possible STD. Occasionally there is a slight tingle on the tip of my penis as well. Could this be caused by an STD? Which STD´s and what are other possiblities? I am twenty years old and otherwise healthy.

Have you noticed any discharge that is coming from your penis? Painful urination is most likely because you have some sort of infection in your penis. This can be caused by urinary tract infection. In my option this will pass in several days but you might need a help from antibiotics. Can you see a local doctor to get a prescription for some antibiotics?
