Hi, two weeks ago I came down with a very serious cold. The doctor prescribed me a drug. But this drug caused me another problem. I started having a gagging feeling in my throat. Beside it, I also vomited for ten days. When I got back to the doctor, he gave me another drug. The new one stopped the vomiting but the gagging felling remained. What can you tell me about this condition?

Hi, I know what you mean. I experienced the same gagging feeling. As a matter of fact I became quite informed about it. When I had this condition, I couldn't even eat. It really bordered me. It felt as if I had some kind of lump in my throat. I went to my doctor quite often. I kept every appointment. Some therapies, however, have reduced my attacks caused by gagging. The only thing that I can advise you is to talk to your physician about your gagging feeling. I am sure that he will refer you to a specialist. He is the only one who can determine the cause and the right course treatment.
