For about a week now I have had off and on burning sensations in the middle of my stomach usually before and after I eat. I like to think of it as a fire baby monster because I can feel acid burning and sloshing in my stomach, my stomach becomes sensitive to touch and I burp a lot. Sometimes I could cure the pain by eating something but sometimes it does not work.
For the past two months I have had regular periods and have also started birth control, so I'm trying to rule out pregnancy...I have gone to the doctor, taken a pregnancy test (negative) and was given a prescription. However, the doctor did not give me a specific answer for my problem, so I'm a little nervous about what and why this is happening. I'm not sure if it's some kind of weird pregnancy thing or if it's because of my eating habits (lately, I have not been eating fruits and vegetables often) If anyone has an idea, please let me know.
And here's my update:

Ok, so it's been almost a month since my doctor has prescribed medication for my fire baby monster problem. So far the treatment has worked, I have realized some foods do set off the heartburn/burning sensation but for the most part the pain is rare. However, I have also noticed that this pain started when I was on period last month, now I am on period (regular) this month and the pain is back....However only at night (it's been about 3 nights that this has been happening) usually before I go to bed and when I happen to drink water during that time. So...it's starting to get to me because the pain can range from 6 to 9 on those little smiley pain indicators. However, it tends tapper off after some heavy tums dosage, milk, and sleeping aids...However, my diet has not changed much either...so maybe that could be it...i'm not sure...
In summary:
Treatment has helped, the pain isn't has chronic as it was when i began
-I realize some foods set off the pain
Pain seems to be worst DURING my period and regularly appearing
-keeps me up at night or wakes me up in the middle of the night
-my solution: Tons of Tums, milk, and sleep aids
Diet has had VERY minimal changes
-I should really...really, really eat more healthier...*sigh* (That just maybe the whole root of this problem)
I took another test this month (just to be sure) but it turned out negative and my period was also regular AND i do not have any major signs of pregnancy (i.e. nausea, tender breasts, etc)....so...idk...I just want to rule out pregnancy or at least opinions of pregnancy...let me know thanks..
