Hi, I am 34 tears old and this is my first pregnancy. Doctor prescribed me methyldopa because I felt dizziness and vertigo, and he said that is because of my high blood pressure. He said that it is better for my baby to prevent high pressure in vessels.
I know that I have to be very careful because of my age… I believe it is safe for my baby. Does anyone have some similar experience?

Methyldopa is drug used for hypertension. It is the only antihypertensive drug recommended in pregnancy. Just take it exactly as doctor prescribed you, of course.
If you take your tablets with some milk, you will avoid stomach irritation. I know this is important to you.
And don’t stop taking methyldopa without your doctor’s advice. Wish you the best
