My grandmother, mother, and her sisters have arthritis in their knees. I am only 17, but my mother developed it around this age. During/after running, I sometimes experience knee pain in one of my knees (usually the right one). Would taking 500mg of Glucosamine Sulfate combat this (this is 1/3 of the "normal" dosage)? Or should I take a full 1500mg a day? Is this unhelpful anyway?

Any personal experience or knowledge is welcome. :)
