Hi oncomom, I know that the granular lymphocite is a specific kind of white blood cell that you tend to see and it is usually the kind that fights off infections so I imagine if you are not fighting off an infection but that you have all these cells running around then it looks a little supicious and your doctor wants to get it taken care of as soon as possible to fix it. Does that make sense? When did you find out about this from your doctor? Did she not explain it to you better?
