I had a tubaligation in 1985. I have had many problems over the years with my menstrual. Months and months of no period, or a period so bad that all I could do was lay in bed and get up and shower, with the large amount of bleeding and clotting. So my gynecologist checked me out and said you have a cyst. We will watch it. After 6 weeks and no shrinkage, they go in with a camera and find out that when I had my tubal, part of my fallopian tube and ovary are now so damaged with a sac of fluid that they have to remove them. Has anyone else ever heard of this or had this happen to them? I have tried to google but am coming up with nothing similiar. Any feedback would be great. Thank you everyone. I enjoy reading and learning from your comments and feedback.

I am about to have surgery to either drain and ligate or remove my L Fallopian tube (the only one I have left) because of infection and fluid. I am really scared but I need to do IVF and the doctors say that this is the only way I have a chance for implantation and for the IVF treatment to work. Did you get any information about that you posted back in 7/07? I had my RO and RFT removed in 2003 because I had a huge cyst. I have been trying to get pregnant for the past 4 years and with no luck. If you have any more information please share it... thank you in advance.
