I had a Fallopian tube removed 9 years ago. Still have the other and both ovaries. I just had my first child at age 25. I now know I am able to have children, but I wonder if I can only conceive on my left side which still contains both Fallopian tube and ovaries. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Guest,

Correct, the egg would be from your left ovary.  With only one fallopian tube that is the only path for an egg to be fertilized and move to the uterus.

I'm not clear if you are asking but no, you don't have to lay on your left side to conceive.
