I'm 30yrs old healthy married woman with a 5 yr old daughter, i really wanted twin sons, so i took Clomid for 5 days from day 7th of my menses cycle to day 11th to get multiple ovums. I know I shouldn't have taken nature into my own hands. I had sex from the 17th day onwards, but now i'm getting severe stomach cramps and also got a urine infection. My breasts are tender and i have food cravings too. Could I be pregnant? My next period is not due till Dec 14th, how can i find out sooner?? Is it possible that I didn't ovulate at all!!!?

Hey ts....I am 29 years old and I also want to take clomid to increase my chances of having twins. Twins run in my family, my mother lost 2 sets of twins (she is only 4foot 11 inches, 105 pounds, she couldn't carry) and I know that twins come from your mothers side so even if my fathers side had a family history of twins (which his does) that would not increase my chances of concieving twins....I have had 2 singleton pregnancies now and really would like to concieve twin....I have read alot of message boards re: taking clomid to concieve multiples and from what I have read it seems almost like a sure thing...so to speak. I work for a doctor so tomorrow when I go to work I will ask her what the deal is and let you know....Melissa
