An Anal fissure is no more contagious than a paper cut. It is a smal tear around the skin of your anus. Tis man could not have 'caught a fissure' from you if he had unprotected anal sex with you. What he COULD have caught was any STD you might have, incluing AIDS, which is why you should NOT hav ANY KIND of unprotected sex with stranges! And being the one with a open wound YOU are at much higher risk of catching something from HIM, including arious infections that occur when bactria is introduced into a cut.
What he might be experiancing, povided neither of you has an STD, is a bacterial infection or a yeast infection. Hopefully the discomfort will rmind him to use a condom nect time.
Both of you should see your health care providr and mke sure you don't need to be on anti biotics.
But barring dieing of embarassment trying to explain things to your Doc, you should be fine.

I dont think he got anything from you. Anal-fissure is very small, frequently 1 mm in diameter. Sometimes, 2 mm diameter in cases with a big anal-fissure. The location of this tear is right near the entrance, right near the sphincter. Mine, after years of having it, tearing and cutting, and surgery that basically re-opened it (which is what fissurectomy is about, unfortunately) - doctors told me it tore to a point where its considered a large one. Though my wound it relative to others, large, it doesnt easily get effected so quickly with medicines I apply in that area. For example, I washed the whole area with tea tree oil, (and tea tree oil often causes burning in mucous membrane skin areas), and it took some time until it actually got inside the fissure. A person's fissure is much more effected by one's own stool, which is why doctors tell us to stay away from irritating foods such as hot peppers until we heal. Also, fissures have also skin around them, and this is an additional barrier. Another point, that I am thinking of, it the question of bleeding at the time. If you were bleeding from your fissure, you would have seen that typical bright red blood but otherwise, fissures dont bleed that often. By the way, hemmoroid blood is dark red and fissure blood is bright, light red from my experience.
