Surgery tomorrow! Thank god because I cannot take this anymore!! I am a little worried about the surgery but nothing can be worse than the butt pain I have been having for 3 months. Was initially being treated with anucort and proctofoam for hemmoroids by my pcp. I knew it was something worse because the pain never went away. My surgeon told me those treatments actually made my fissure worse. I have been using nitroglycerin cream since the surgeon saw me but its not helping with the pain. I am looking forward to being pain free . . HOPEFULLY!! The feedback I read on here has me feeling very optomistic. Thanks!

So sorry to hear about your anal fissure. I know how bad the pain is because I had one myself. Before you have the surgery you really need to try the product I used to heal my fissure. It is an all natural oil. I was days away from the surgery too but the oil started to relieve the pain in less than a few days... here is a website with more info....

You have to believe a complete stranger but the natural oil really works. Please consider trying it before having the surgery. The surgery has its complications and does not heal the fissure...best of luck to you

I got relief from my fissure with the nitroglycerin but it took six weeks of treatment. The dr said to stay on iit that long  and I'm glad I did.  Give it some time. I also used the protocort and it did get worse. Keep with the nitro
