I am usually pretty good at wearing circulation socks when I fly for long international flight however on my most recent trip (one 12 hour flight and one 8 hour) I forgot the socks. I did all the exercises they recommend and I drank lots of water. But my ankles still got swollen but SPECIFICALLY my left ankle. It has been about a month and a half and my right ankle is fine and my left is off and on okay. After I do any sort of exercise (especially jogging - so I changed to cycling) it swells and gets really stiff, no pain, just stiff and swollen. If I take an anti-inflammatory and heat it then the next day it is usually okay, then I exercise again..... I think it is happening in my left leg because about 6 years ago I got a ACL reconstructive surgery. Everything is okay from the surgery but sometimes this. Are there any vitamins/medications I can take, specific to decreasing inflammations and making this finally go away!?!?! I am stretching and drinking lots of water everyday. What can I do I feel like my circulation is horrible and I have one ugly 'cankle'?!?!?
