Hi. I have suffered from internal piles in the past and have used anusol to try to resolve the problem. My question is what affect would this cream have if it got into contact with the prostate gland, if any?

I think you can use anusol safely. Little, if any, of the hydrocortisone is absorbed into your system unless you have an abscess or perforation of the rectum. If in doubt, talk to your doctor about this.

Look, it is not easy to choose hemorrhoids cream and for sure, you should not do this alone.

My husband was using anusol as well and it was safe. Some small side - effects might appear at the beginning but they will go away very soon.

This medication is used to treat hemorrhoids and itchiness as well. I don't think that this medication can affect prostate, but I do know that it can cause burning, itching, dry skin and some changes in skin color around the rectal area also may occur.

It is very important to observe them and to contact your doctor if you notice any of these.
