I'm a 19 year old female who has been having gastrointestinal problems for two years. At age 17 i was diagnosed with Heriditary Chronic Pancreatitis. Ever since then i have had problems upon problems. I also have horrible acid reflux which has resulted in an irriated esophogus that fluttlers once and a while and an inflamed stomach. Recently however i was hospitalized twice in one month for right upper abdominal pain, it's a distinct stabbing pain that wraps around into my back. I have terrible fatigue, headaches, and nausea. The doctors did numerous tests to check my Gallbladder and its functions, and results showed that it's fine, but the stabbing pain is still there. It hurts even more after i eat. I eat almost every 2 hours because i can never feel full, i can eat a bowl of cereal and feel very full and almost not finish eating it but an hour later i will be starving like i haven't eaten in days. I also have had purpleish blue feet, they have been this way since i was 14, i can't feel that they're cold until they're touched.

I have seen three doctors so far for my problems and am about to meet a new specialist. If anyone has had any of these symptoms or know anything about my symptoms please help! My family and myself have become very frustrated and i would like to return to college since i had to leave early.

I sympathize with you. My suggestion would be to get to a hospital that is know for it's research in this area. You may have surprisingly different results. That type of hospital will be on the cutting edge of research in the gastrointestinal area. If you are dealing with 3 doctors from the same area, you might get the same answers, especially if you are dealing with a local hospital. Please try this idea. Let us know what you find out and how you are doing. Choose a teaching hospital. Take care.

hi im a 21 yr old female and i hav had very similar symptoms for the last 2 months. i hav had countles blood tests along with an abdominal ultrasound and a hida scan, all of which have come back normal. my doctor was almost certain that it was my gall bladder causing this, but it is evidently not the case. my feet are also purlpeish blue and always cold. which i think is strange i am schedualed for an endoscopy next week so that the doctors can get a better look at whats going on. i know how frustrating this is and understand what you are going through, even though u hav been experencing these symptoms much longer then i have. good luck and if you find anything out please let us all know. hang in there, you'll get you answer
