How do i make my period come late?

Well, you can't do it on purpose but there are birth control options that can keep you from having a period at all or at least reduce it to just a few times a year. Not on purpose, but if you are especially stressed or something like that, you can make your period come late. Is there any reason why you'd want your period to come late?
