I am 22 years of age and I was recently in a relationship. Before I go into that I will give a back round of my life. When I was sixteen I found out my right ovary had a huge cyst and the left one did as well. The doctor went in and removed my right ovary and half of my left. He also put my on a birth control. I have been taking it ever since to prevent more cysts. I weigh about 158 and suffer from Major Depression. I recently have had an "episode" and have not been eating, drinking, sleeping, I have diarrhea when I do eat, and I am very emotional.

I recently ended a relationship with a guy and we had sex, but he didn't cum because he was scared since we didn't have a condom. But he was inside me for a little. We had sex right after my period stopped, but I don't remember if I restarted taking my normal pills yet, I don't think I did. My main concern is my period is late. I am suppose to get it this week and usually I get it by Tuesday, but its Thursday and I still haven't gotten it. With everything going on I don't know what to think. I am not hungry, I don't do anything, I am very Depressed, but I keep having this diarrhea and these head aches are killing me. I feel so light head some times and have bad mood swings. Any suggestions?

Hi honey! So you have been on the pill for a long time and you are still on it, but can't remember if you took your regular pills? As long as you are on the pill you are covered! When you are stressed out like you are, it can REALLY affect your period! I am sure you have had episodes like this with your depression! Are you on anything for it? Also even though your are having a period etc, have you EVER been checked for hormone imbalances!? I suspect tht this could have something to do with your depression! Also to answer the question and get it off your mind, take a pregnancy test to see! Please let me know how you make out OK? And I know it's hard, but DON'T let your dperession define you OK? You are a young lady who HAS depression, NOT - IS Depressed!! Does that make sense?

Hey, I suffer from bi-polar and schizophrenia and have bad spouts too. I'm was on the pill and now I'm off cuz I'm getting ready to get pregnant. They had to take me off of my sleeping meds and anxiety meds before I could get pregnant. I'm having such a hard time as well because my period is late and I am worried I haven't been off the meds long enough. I know its so hard not to worry, I don't imagine a time when I won't have to worry its just built in as I am sure you understand. I don't know when this post was up but what I try to do is get the stressful stuff out of the way fast. If you can go get a test at the doctor then you know for sure and its one less problem. If you don't remember if you took your pills try to count them and maybe plan a new start if you have missed to many. Either way when all this is taken care of take to someone about medications that may help the depression. You may or may not need therapy but there is no reason for you to just suffer. If you are on something evaluate how it works and talk to you doctor about more options. Changes in meds has effected me greatly and I've been on some form or another for 20 years now. Also don't let anyone cut you down about when you boyfriend was inside you. Moments of weakness exist. Also remember pregnancy has options when acted fastly you have 3. So choice what is best for you. Hang in there!
