My girlfriend started the pill approximately 3 weeks ago.. About a week ago we had unprotected sex. I did not ejaculate during intercourse however, did during foreplay. Shortly there after we had intercourse but again did not ejaculate inside of her. She originally told me that we should use other forms of birth control for the first two weeks according to her Dr. But now she is saying she is extreamly hungery all the time and feels like she is gaining alot of weight. She is not due for her period until the end of next week.
So my questions are.. How soon does the bill begin to work? Should we be worried? It seems like it would be too early for those to be signs that she is pregnant already and very unlikely that she could get pregnant without vaginal ejaculation. I'm not a Dr. so thats why I'm asking.
Thank you for any help!

It really does depend on what pill she's on. Some pills take 1 week to take effect, some take 2, some take a month. Some are effective immediately if you start them on the first day of your period. It will say in her pill's panphlet how long until it takes effect. Or if you know the name of the pill she's on you can look up that information on the manufacturers website.
It dosen't seem like you need to be worried much at all. You said her dr. said wait 2 weeks. And she started 3 weeks ago. And last week you started having unprotected sex. So she has been on the pill for the alotted 2 weeks the dr. told her to be before you had sex with her. That's from only what you said. Anyways, you guys seem safe, and the fact that you're pulling out always helps against pregnancy, better with the pill. Make sure she continues to take her pill at the same time everyday and that she dosen't miss any or else that can increase the risk of pregnancy.
Hope this helps!
