so this is the situation im in. about a week ago me and my girlfriend had unprotected sex. it was a big mistake as i didnt even pull out, so 2 days after she took the morning after pill. last night we had unprotected sex again but i pulled out this time. today (almost a week from the first time) she had her period. which is good news. but she said it was about 10 days early. does this mean she wont get pregnant, or could she still get pregnant from the day before?

thank you for reading.

if she got her period, she's probley not pregnant. her early period is probley just a result of taking the morning after pill. what it is, is a high dosage of birth control. so, it will probley affect her period. i would guess that she's not pregnant. but if the two of you don't feel confident, she can take a pregnancy test two weeks after the day of sex. i hope you feel better.

Bleeding and/or early period IS a side effect of the morning after pill and is actually a good thing. You really dont have anything to worry about- but, as the previos post said you can always take a test 2 weeks post intercourse if u r worried. Im sure it would be negative though :) Good luck :)
ps- it might be a good idea to have her get on a birth control pill- they are 99% effective and will prevent these types of scares in the future
