Rub a brush or comb on it to get blood circulating again, rub a toothbrush with mint toothpaste on it, put a wet spoon in the freezer for 10 min then hold it against your hickey, or press a warm, wet tea bag against it.

Lol! Nice! Cold spoon. You have to put hard pressure on the area. Rolling something aross it with hard pressure does it. Ice does helps, but it will hurt after a while.

The best thing you can do is to work all of the known cures together... Start with ice or the cold spoon for the first few hours. After that scrape it with a coin and put some ointment on it. After like twelve hours take an anti-inflammatory and heat the area. You can get rid of it almot completely in a day! I read a bit about it

You can try a number of methods. At least they would help in some way.The important thing to keep in mind while choosing any method is that how much time has passed away. So do some research on it. If the hickey is fresh, the cold compress method works best. Covering the hickey with tooth paste also helps a bit. Since 48 hours have passed away in your case, you should try the heat pack method. Applying Vitamin K cream and Arnica Salvia are also popular.
