I have painful endometriosis since late teens. Am now 42 and had 2 kids. My doc is urging me to get full hysterectomy to manage the pain. Have tried depo shots, continuous bc pills, nsaids, opiates, etc. I also have a small pfo and am hearing from some that a pfo rules out hrt because of stroke risk. Am really scared that I will have trouble with onset of menopause - especially emotionally. Also - fear that the surgery wont help the pain. Also have had 2 laps for the endo already... please offer any insights! Thanks.

If you want to try to keep your uterus, maybe see a homeopath or naturopath of some kind. It's worth a shot, at least. I think you'd probably benefit the most from seeing an EDS technician or biomeridian technician. Look up one in your area.
