Ok I posted a few days ago and got no response but figured maybe 3rd times the charm. Anyways my 4 year old was diagnosed with Hyperreflexia in August, cause unknown. MRI done in October was Normal (brain and spine). Dr is sending for a physical and occupational therapy evaluation and therapy. They ran blood tests and a urine test which i get the results for Monday. He does have low blood sugar (about 60-75 in the morning). Could the blood sugar be the cause of the hyperreflexia? The hyperreflexia affects about 90% of his body but they are only worried about his legs right now as they don't always hold him up. Anyone have any advice, experience, information they would like to share. He also had a sleep study done last month but I won't have those results until Tuesday. During the pregnancy I went into labor at 32 wks, was giving many meds to stay pregnant. I remember being on the magnesium sulfate drip for 2 days and morophine for awhile and a couple other i don't remember the names of and the last thing was turbuteline pump from 33-36 wks and he was born at 36 wks. I was just 1 point below being considered gestational diabetes during the pregnancy.
