I am 15 and am concerned about puberty and growth I am 5'8" tall and have a body frame like my dad and in the last year gained a lot of weight from around 100 pounds to 151 and I have considerable amount of pubic hair but my feet and height and penis haven't grown in over 6 months and I am size 11 feet and my penis is 5" long but I have no facial hair and only a slight amount of armpit hair, a slight amount of leg hair, no arm hair and a thin snail trail of hair under belly button. I am concerned that I have low testosterone of hypothyroidism which would be delaying my growth as I also experience fatigue and general lack of energy.

You sound pretty normal in what you describe. Puberty is different for all guys and progresses at different speeds and in different ways from the average sequence usually portrayed as the most common male puberty process and time rates. Dr.s use testicle size and body features to estimate what stage a male is at in his puberty process and how far toward his mature body and sexual organs he is at any one time. Which body features appear and in what order can vary some. The timing of growth can vary also. Males with excess weight can affect their own testosterone levels some as extra weight tends to decrease a male's testosterone level some, But extra weight is not enough to stop puberty and will not stunt genital growth or masculinization.

Look at your Dad, brothers, uncles, cousins, and other male relatives on your father and mother's sides of the family. They can often show you what your genetics might be as far as body size, type, hairiness, masculinity traits and degree, penis size, feet and hand sizes, and similar body features at different male ages and stages of maturity. You can just see how they look at different ages in person and in past photos and compare that to how you look now and at different ages to see how you compare. The male relatives who look and are built most like you will probably be similar to what you can expect to grow and look and turn out to be most like at different ages. Since your genetics is likely similar to some of your male relatives, they can tell you how they went through puberty and how long it took and at what ages they stopped growing in height and weight and you can see how big their feet and hands and similar body parts are at different ages compared to your own. If you get a chance to go to gyms, swimming, share hotel rooms, camping, or similar experiences with your male relatives, you can just look and compare your own penis and testicles, and body hair to theirs and see how you compare to your male relatives and even ask them about their growth and ages of getting their maximum sizes and hairiness if you are comfortable asking them. Most males don't mind answering other males questions and comparing puberty experiences and bodies if they trust you to keep it man to man and not tell everyone anything they said to you in confidence and man to man. Adult men know how it was going through puberty themselves and how all guys wonder what to expect and when they will start to shave, grow chest hair, get a full grown penis, and other common questions all males have growing up. Most adults are proud to tell younger relatives what to expect and when and to compare bodies to see how the younger guys are coming along and compare to their older male relatives. It all depends on how open and honest your relatives are with such information. Once a boy starts showing body hair and penis growth, most older males will see him as a man in the making that they can then talk openly with as a man and compare bodies with no shame. Otherwise, just look at other males to see what to expect and when. You sound normal and like you're going through puberty fine at your age.
